Exzo Network project includes two main components

• A web-based application that will provide a platform for decentralized cross-chain conversion of digital assets.

• A blockchain network based on Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism that will provide an ecosystem for creating customized blockchains, deploying smart contracts, with low fees and high throughput.

Exzo Network project will be aimed to including full support of Ethereum based dApps.

All critical components of the system will be reused as much as possible from existing open source projects to reduce time-to-market and costs of implementation.

Ecosystem Needs & Requirements

Cryptocurrencies have an isolated existence. Designed to be decentralized and work independently, they either have their own separate blockchain ecosystem or run off of other larger ones such as Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain.

This essentially means that one token cannot interact with another if they run on different ecosystems. As more and more tokens are launched coupled with increased interest due to DeFi, the struggle is getting more serious.

Exzo Network project is committed to promote adoption of cryptocurrencies by providing products that are useful and easy to use.

First of all, the cross-chain swap solution should solve the problem of converting tokens between different blockchains which can now be complicated for the general user.

There is another problem that is relevant for small and medium businesses who want to implement blockchain and dApps into their operations. Using existing solutions puts limitations on business applicability and is often accompanied with high transactional costs. Custom development of a decentralized application or the blockchain network can be costly and time consuming. By implementing the innovative blockchain architecture Exzo Network native blockchain network should allow cheap, simple and fast creation of custom blockchains with low-cost transactions for businesses that need it.

Businesses that already run their applications on Ethereum struggle with high fees and low TPS rate. They need a cheaper and faster alternative to optimize their operations. Exzo Network blockchain should provide full support for Ethereum based smart contracts written in Solidity for the smooth and efficient transition from Ethereum to Exzo Network blockchain.

Solution Overview

Exzo Network will be the platform that provides a wide range of blockchain and DeFi opportunities for users from swapping tokens between different blockchains and earn profits from staking to creating fully-functional dApps written in Solidity and fully compatible with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).

Initially Exzo Network ecosystem will be a fork of Fantom Network (https://fantom.foundation/). This will give faster time to market, robust technology and feature-rich solutions.

Main components of the platform will include:

In later versions, it is planned to introduce enterprise solutions for managing, tracking, and securing private data such as healthcare data/patient data, data for private sector industries, government, etc.

Major Features

Cross-chain swap app

Web application integrated with open source liquidity provider API's that allows to swap tokens between networks supported by these providers from the custom Exzo Network web interface.

PoS blockchain network

The solution forked from Fantom blockchain network that will allow for staking and natively building swap bridges between multiple blockchains. The network will be governed by the native Exzo Network token providing the ecosystem for creating swap liquidity pools.

Wallet Application

Mobile client for storing all supported tokens and accessing DeFi features provided by the network including swaps and staking.

EVM compatible Solidity dApps

Full support of Ethereum based smart contracts written in Solidity to allow for dApp development and transition of users from Ethereum to Exzo Network blockchain.

Blockchain Explorer

Web application integrated with the native network that allows to track and search transactions on the ledger.

Scope & Limitations

The initial version of Exzo Network project will focus on creating the fastest possible value for end users by providing Exzo Network token swap application integrated with open source liquidity providers via their API's.

In parallel the efforts will be directed to the development of the core functionality of the platform that covers the MVP features and forms the basis for further development. The MVP release will include a forked and Exzo Network branded set of applications from Fantom blockchain ecosystem.

For the budget optimization the software will not have features for the general consumer, such as:

• Ability to swap tokens that are not supported by open source liquidity providers (initial version).
• Ability to swap tokens between networks that are not supported by Fantom blockchain at the time of the fork.
• Custom features that are not supported by Fantom blockchain at the time of the fork.

Other Needs

The solution will initially run on AWS cloud infrastructure utilizing message-based architecture and modern technologies like Docker, RabbitMQ, Redis, Lerna, etc.

Accessibility

Exzo Network platform will be designed to be as widely accessible as possible. Therefore, it should be compatible with the latest versions of Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Brave, and Internet Explorer browsers.

1.3.2.2. The payment gateway allows a user to select a cryptocurrency from a list, fill in the target wallet address and buy the selected cryptocurrency with a credit card.

1.6.2.1. A user should be able to select the source token from the dropdown list and the amount to swap.

1.6.2.2. The system should validate if the amount of selected token on the connected wallet of a user is sufficient.

1.6.2.3. The system should display the approximate value of defined amount of selected tokens calculated in USD.

1.9.2.1. After setting all the parameters of the swap a user should be able to initiate the swap execution by clicking on the Swap Currency button.

1.9.2.2. Upon clicking on the Swap Currency button the linked wallet application should be triggered and open for the transaction confirmation.

1.12.1. Summary

As a User I want to create a new wallet so that I could generate a new key pair for transactions

1.12.2. Acceptance criteria

1.12.2.1. A user should be able to create a wallet by clicking on the Create wallet button at the home page of Exzo Wallet application.

1.12.2.2. The flow of creating a wallet consists of four steps:

• Step 1 - a user creates a password for the wallet and downloads keystore file to their local machine
• Step 2 - a seed phrase is displayed. At this step a user should also be available to view the wallet’s private key
• Step 3 - a seed phrase confirmation check. At this step a user should confirm the seed phrase displayed at Step 2 by clicking the words in the correct order.
• Step 4 - the confirmation message is displayed. Upon clicking the Access wallet button a user should be redirected to the Wallet page of the newly created wallet.

1.20.2.3. The flow of sending assets from Exzo Wallet application consists of three steps:

• Step 1 - select the destination network (Exzo, Ethereum or Binance)
• Step 2 - Enter the amount to be sent, enter recipient’s wallet address and memo. A user should not be able to enter the amount exceeding the total wallet holdings.
• Review and confirm the details of the transaction

• Running a validator node

1.22.2.5. Each delegation includes the details: Delegation time, Validator name, Delegated amount.

• Step 1 - enter delegation amount and select a validator from the list

1.26. Exzo Network: Deploy a Solidity smart contract

1.26.1. Summary

As a User I want to deploy a solidity smart contract so that I could run ERC-20 or ERC-721 smart contracts on Exzo Network

1.26.2. Acceptance criteria

1.26.2.1. To deploy a smart contract, a user sends a transaction to the Exzo Network containing smart contract’s bytecode without specifying any recipients.

1.26.2.2. After the contract is deployed, it will be available to all users of the Exzo Network.

1.26.2.3. Smart contracts should have an Exzo Network address like other accounts.

1.27. Exzo Network: Create a fixed-cap asset

1.27.1. Summary

As a User I want to create a fixed-cap asset so that I could issue a token with fixed supply

1.27.2.1. A user should be able to create a fixed-cap asset on Exzo Network that are fungible tokens for which the supply is determined at the time of asset creation.

1.27.2.2. To deploy a smart contract a user should:

• Compile a code of the smart contract into bytecode
• Deploy a smart contract by sending a transaction to the Exzo Network
• Navigate to the explorer to check that the token has been created

Exzo Network: Create a variable-cap asset

1.28.1. Summary

As a User I want to create a variable-cap asset so that I could issue a token with variable supply

1.28.2. Acceptance criteria

1.28.2.1. A user should be able to create a fixed-cap asset on Exzo Network that are fungible tokens for which the supply is determined at the time of asset creation.

1.28.2.2. To deploy a smart contract a user should:

• Compile a code of the smart contract into bytecode
• Deploy a smart contract by sending a transaction to the Exzo Network
• Navigate to the explorer to check that the token has been created

1.32.1. Summary

1.32.2. Acceptance criteria

1.32.2.1. By clicking on account address from any page of Exzo Scan application a user should be able to view the Account Details page.

1.32.2.2. The page should include:

• Account address with controls to copy the address to the clipboard and show the address as QR code
• The total balance of ExzoCoin on the account
• USD value of ExzoCoin holdings on the account and current ExzoCoin price in USD

“ExzoCoin” project includes two main components:

1.5. ExzoSwap High-Level Solution Architecture

1.5.1. ExzoSwap FE App is a standalone React application. This application is built into several js and CSS files and is meant to be served from the s3 bucket using cloud front.

1.5.2. ExzoSwap App is integrated with 1INCH API through a secured VPN connection.

1.5.3. A user interacts with ExzoSwap App from their web browser using Metamask extension (or Wallet Connect integration) for making transactions.

1.6. Exzo Network High-Level Solution Architecture

1.6.1. A Validator node consists of three components: state machine, consensus and networking.

1.6.2. An application can communicate to a node via CLI. Opera network supports auditing by permitting participants to join in post-validation mode.

1.6.3. An observer (or Monitor) node consists of a state machine, post validation component and networking component.

1.6.4. The network supports three types of participants: users, validators and monitors.

1.6.5. Each validating node can create new event blocks. Generation of a new event block indicates that the new block and all of its ancestors have been validated by the creator node of that new event block.
